Dina Baldwin Berdy is a graduate of Michigan State in 1994 in Psychology and then attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 1996 with her MSW. Her first job out of graduate school was working in an adolescent drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a therapist. From there she went on to work in a breadth of positions which allowed access to a diversity of client populations, as well as opportunities to learn skills and techniques from settings in Boston, Ann Arbor, Toledo as a clinician, a Director of Wellness Education, a residential manager, a college therapist, and a parent/child behavior specialist to name a few. Her trainings include EMDR, PCIT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Talk Therapy.
Having worked over two decades in various settings such as; colleges, rehabs, community mental health, private clinics, residential housing, and more, Dina developed an ethos of non pathologizing and honed her skill with a focus on trauma. In session, her eye is on holding space. She implements behavioral work but is always attachment based. Virtual and In-person sessions are available.
